Al Wolmer is an engineer by education (BE Civil Engineering, The Cooper Union and MS Engineering Mechanics, Columbia University). He spent thirty years in industry before leaving to pursue his true passion, teaching mathematics. He was an Adjunct Intructor for thirteen years at Georgia Perimeter College and has been at Yeshiva Atlanta High School (now Atlanta Jewish Academy Upper School) for twelve years as Mathematics Department Head and is now their SMART Technology Coach. In addition, Al is an independent math education consultant, performing a variety of editing and authoring projects for online publishers, as well as training many public and private school math faculties in SMART Board related math teaching.

 

Al now uses his technical and educational background and skills to help math teachers EASILY and EFFICIENTLY use the SMART Board to bring their teaching to a higher level.
